I love having the availability to offer in home newborn sessions. However, it’s always a very vulnerable act to step into a new parent’s home. In some ways, as I step through their door, it feels as if I am entering an almost sacred haven. It’s a blessing to feel the presence of God in a home in such a damaged world. Praise Jesus, a peaceful home is possible!

Shawn and Ravonne’s sweet little home was perfect and cozy. It reminded me of the quote “love grows best in little houses like this”. Open rooms like this where the livingroom joins the kitchen capture my heart. The two rooms where your family spends the most time, filled a constant stream of laughter; there isn’t a happier picture!

The glow of sunshine through the side doors behind them was heavenly.

With all the newborns I’ve had the privilege of documenting this year, one thing captures my attention most. That is the moments when it’s just mamma and baby. All in their own world they are- safe and peaceful.
