This past fall, my husband and I traveled towards ME for a friend’s wedding. We stopped in CT for a few days to explore, and while there, met friends for a session. This location was one she dreamed of using for a long while and I happily made that dream come true. Honestly, I still dream of that evening. The golden hour did not last near long enough!

Seashell hunting, rock climbing, and shy hugs made up the session. And as the sun set and the Lapp family frolicked together, my camera and I caught and froze the glowy moments. From the waving seashell man to the pudgy baby fingers laced with sand, the session was one full of creative imagination, patient love, and family being present together. Perfection was not the goal- organic moments were.
