The Bergeys’ June day

Hello, my dear friends! I am back!

Last year held a lot in my personal life, but it also held many beautiful weddings! There are a few I want to journal before I start on this year’s, starting with the Bergeys.

June 7, 2025- We prayed the rain to hold off on this day, and the Lord kindly gave us space in the morning for some lovely bride & groom portraits without raindrops. Rain isn’t all bad and my creative brain enjoys the challenge sporadically. The weather’s mood, the couple, and the level of class their day exuded fit the location of choice so well!

You’ll see a lot of black and white images in this entry. That is intentional. In all my years of photography, I’ve always been pulled in by the depth of emotion their simplicity portrays. Color is lively and exciting, but I will always treasure the meaningful black & whites.
